Japan Beckons for Young Tigers

At the recent Yokohama F Marinos FC clinic hosted by NSFA, two Northern Tigers players were identified by J-League academy coach Erabu Mochizuki and invited to train with the club’s academy in Japan.

Max Ogawa (NPL Youth U15s) and Pratik Napit (NPL Youth U16s) were observed by the elite Japanese coaches during the three-day clinic held at North Turramurra Recreation Area.

Northern Tigers Technical Director Jason Eagar welcomed the development opportunity for both players.

“Coach Mochizuki identified Max and Pratik as having the required attitude and technical skills to potentially be successful in Japan,” he said.

“It’s an amazing chance for the boys to test themselves against elite players in Japan.”

Congratulations to both players on their achievement!
