Weekend Review: June 16-17

Weekend Review: June 16-17
Our Women’s NPL took on Football NSW Institute at Valentine Sports Park on Sunday, producing several impressive performances to come away with one win, three draws and one loss against some of the nation’s brightest talents. First Grade secured a 0-0 result against the high-flying Institute, who have averaged three goals a game this season and entered the fixture on the back of a seven-match winning streak.
Saturday night saw our Men’s NPL squads take on Macarthur Rams at Lynwood Park. Unfortunately it was a frustrating experience for our Under 20’s and First Grade, with the matches finishing in a 1-0 loss and scoreless draw respectively against stubborn defences. The Under 18’s notched up a 6-0 win, returning to form after last week’s draw with Blacktown.

Youth NPL travelled to Ilinden Sports Centre on Saturday morning, producing a draw and a win to start the day before being overpowered in the older age groups.
