Weekend Review: June 23-24

Our Women’s NPL teams welcomed Sutherland Shire to NTRA on Sunday in what was a day featuring goals aplenty! Our Under 15’s returned to form in a 7-1 win, while our Reserve Grade came out winners in a thrilling 5-3 result! Unfortunately First Grade could not find a way through the stubborn defence of the visitors, settling for a point.

It was a hard-fought weekend in Men’s and Youth NPL against the Central Coast Mariners Academy across two venues. Saturday’s Youth NPL fixtures at NTRA saw three draws to start the morning before the Under 16’s were unfortunately edged in a tight contest. The action moved to Pluim Park on Sunday for the senior fixtures, which saw our Under 20’s secure a 1-0 win between losses for our First Grade and Under 18’s.
