The club would like to pay its respects to former coach Ash Grant, who unfortunately passed away yesterday.
Ash was our boys Under 13’s coach in 2014, with a few of our current U18 players in that team.
He was a very genuine, honest, down to earth character and well-liked and respected by all. While he coached the 13’s, he also gave us invaluable support at the time in maintaining Mills Park, providing his expertise as a professional groundsman.
He was only at the club for one season as travelling from the coast it was difficult for him to balance his work, family, and Terrigal United Football Club coaching commitments. However he left a great impression on anyone at the club fortunate enough to cross paths with him during his time.
His passing is greatly mourned by our club’s members and we extend our condolences and support to Ash’s family. Rest in Peace Ash.
