It was heartbreak for our Men’s First Grade side, scoring a late equaliser to force extra time against Mount Druitt but ultimately falling short in a penalty shootout. Better news for our Under 18’s, who steamrolled Blacktown Spartans on their way to joining our Under 20’s in the next week of the finals.
Youth NPL travelled out west to face Mount Druitt and had a tough day at Popondetta Park, with only our Under 16’s securing any competition points. AYL fared better against Macarthur FA at NTRA, splitting the points with their opponents across one win, two draws and a loss.
