We are proud to announce Jason Eagar, Davide Del Giovine, Chris Adams, Saoirse Cobbe and Danilo Gama as our 2023 Technical Directors. As a group, they have a vast amount of experience and knowledge, coaching both in Australia and oversees.
Jason Eagar returns for his 10th year as Northern Tigers Technical Director. Jason has coached both in the Men’s and Women’s side of the Club, coaching both 1st Grade Men and Women, as well as the U20’s and U13 Boys. He also has a Masters of Sports Coaching and his A-Licence. In addition to his Club Technical Director role, Jason will also act as Youth Girls Technical Director.
Davide Del Giovine will work closely alongside Jason Eagar as the newly appointed Goalkeeper Technical Director. Davide is former Head Goalkeeper Coach of A-League sides Western Sydney Wanderers and Sydney FC and is currently a part of the Joeys National Australia U17’s coaching team. Davide also has experience coaching oversees in Italy for 4 years.
Chris Adams will fulfil the role of Youth Boys Technical Director next season. Chris has over 12 years coaching experience both in Western Australia and NSW with his most recent position being the Assistant Coach for 1st Grade Men last season. Chris also has his A-Licence and is a C and B Licence instructor for Football Australia.
Saoirse Cobbe will step up into the Girls SAP Technical Director role after coaching various age groups within the program for the past 4 seasons. Saoirse also has experience coaching in the NSFA Youth space and will also fulfil the role of U16 Girls Assistant Coach. Saoirse has been a part of Northern Tigers for 12 years, starting her playing journey in the U12 Girls and progressing through the ranks to Senior Women.
Danilo Gama joins the Technical Directors team as SAP Technical Director. Danilo has been involved with the Club for a number of years, coaching in both Boys and Girls SAP and Youth programs. He also has experience coaching oversees in Brazil for Estacio de Sa FC. Danilo has also been appointed Head Coach for Reserve Grade Women this season.
