About Tigers Cup
The Tigers Cup was first held in 2021, Tigers Cup 2024 will be the 4th consecutive year. Tigers Cup is a one-day tournament for high performing community teams in the U8/U9/U10/U11/U12 age groups for the mixed/boys/girls teams. Teams are invited from different associations across Sydney and Greater Sydney. The Tigers Cup is targeted at Division 1/Graded A teams at ambitious Clubs with a strong development focus.
Team and Player Development Benefits of the Tigers Cup:
- Team building and team bonding
- Introduce new players into the team
- Valuable game preparation for the upcoming winter season
- Set the team standards for the season
- Coaches can support team/player development with video footage
- Assist with the transition to 7v7 for the U8 age group, and to 9v9 for the U10 age group
Tournament Features:
- All games played on a quality synthetic fields
- Games are played from 8.30am up to 4pm daily
- Tournament management software to keep updated with the draw, scores, tables
- Official referees
- First Aid personnel onsite
- Match balls supplied
- Trophies – Winners Trophy/Medals and All-Star team announced each day
- Games filmed using VEO cameras and shared with team coaches
- BBQ and drinks for sale

- U8 – 7v7 – Wednesday 17 April 2024
- U9 – 7v7 – Friday 19 April 2024
- U10 – 9v9 – Monday 22 April 2024
- U11 – 9v9 – Tuesday 23 April 2024
- U12 – 9v9 – Wednesday 24 April 2024
- Girls U11/12 – 7v7 – Friday 26 April 2024
