Northern Tigers FC are excited to announce the signing of Ellie Brush for the 2018 Women’s NPL season.
Brush played for Western Sydney Wanderers in the most recent season of the Westfield W-League and also featured for GWS Giants in the Women’s AFL.
The 29-year-old spent the majority of her playing career at Canberra United, winning two premierships and two championships as club captain.
Northern Tigers Technical Director Jason Eagar is looking forward to Brush’s debut as a Tigers player.
“Ellie will bring additional quality, experience, and leadership to the women’s squad. Her contribution both on and off the field will be invaluable for the club’s young aspiring players.”
“Having players of the calibre of Servet Uzunlar, Eliza Campbell and now Ellie Brush representing Northern Tigers provides a great opportunity for young girls in the NSFA to experience the best of women’s football in their own backyard.”
Brush joins the Northern Tigers squad for training this week and is expected to make her debut in the coming weeks.
