Northern Tigers roar in $1000 for a worthy cause

Last Sunday saw Northern Tigers raise $1000 for a deserving charity, Dreams2Live4, after running a Mother’s Day bake sale.

Dreams2Live4 is a charity that grants dreams to adult patients suffering from metastatic cancer – which is a cancer that has spread from one part of the body to another.

This charity works tirelessly granting dreams to people from all around Australia. Donations and support like this from the Northern Tigers community enables many more dreams to become a reality.

All five of the Northern Tigers women’s teams baked the treats and sold them on Sunday at North Turramurra Recreation Area, as they welcomed local rivals North Shore Mariners.

With the final tally from generous contributions throughout the day, the bake sale raised $564 and an anonymous donation from a Tiger’s parent raised the final total to $1000!

It was a great way to spoil all of the mothers on Mother’s Day, while raising funds for an amazing cause. Thanks to the Northern Tigers community for all their support!
