Player Profile: Jordan Ferrier

How long have you been playing for Northern Tigers?

I have just started my second season for Tigers.

Which clubs have you previously played for?

I played one year for Dee Why FC when I first arrived in Australia, and after one season there, I signed for the Tigers.

What have you enjoyed most about playing for Northern Tigers?

What I love at the Tigers is the atmosphere, it’s very familial and no one pretends to be superior than the club.

What position do you play? Have you always played there?

I play centre back. I’ve played that position for a long time, but I started as right back when I was younger.

What is your personal goal for this season?

My target this year it’s to finish top scorer! No, to be honest I want to win the championship and go to NPL1.

Do you have a favourite club/player? Who/why?

My favourite club is Marseille in France, and my favourite player is Zidane!

What is your best football memory?

My best football memory was the mini football World Cup last year in Tunisia (October), it was an amazing experience to travel to represent Australia, we lost in quarterfinal against Spain!

The Northern Tigers Men square off against the Central Coast Mariners Academy this Saturday at North Turramurra Recreation Area. Come down to the ground a support for the players as they look for a third straight win at home!

Kick-off times: Under 18’s – 3pm, Under 20’s – 5pm, First Grade – 7pm.
