It was raining goals on Saturday night at Popondetta Park, with 17 goals being scored across three matches against Mount Druitt Town Rangers. Our Under 18’s continued their impressive season with a 3-2 win, but unfortunately our Under 20’s and First Grade went down by one-goal margins.
It was a tough morning at Bonnyrigg for our Youth NPL players, picking up one win and a draw across the four matches against strong opposition.
On Sunday our Women’s NPL teams were in action for the penultimate round of their season against Manly United at Cromer Park. Three close matches to start the morning saw the Under 15’s pick up the lone win of the day. Despite going ahead in First Grade thanks to Michelle Brown’s first goal for the club, the home side proved too strong in the second half to come away with the points.
