Women’s First Grade midfielder Malia Steinmetz has signed with Western Sydney Wanderers for the upcoming A-League Women’s season.
The New Zealand international returns to the competition for a second season after making her debut with Perth Glory, featuring in every game for the WA side in the 2020-21 campaign.
Steinmetz has starred in the heart of the Tigers midfield in the NPL NSW this year, making eleven appearances and scoring three goals.
She becomes the fifth Tigers player to confirm their involvement in the A-League Women’s season, following Morgan Aquino (Perth Glory), Ellie Brush (Sydney FC), Lauren Allan (Newcastle Jets) and Aideen Keane (Perth Glory).
